Steer the coil to the glowing food. Each bite makes it longer and a little faster. Hit a wall or yourself and the round ends.

How Coil works
The board is 14 by 14 squares. The coil moves one square every tick. You can only turn left or right of where it is heading, so pressing the opposite way does nothing.
Food. Food appears on a random empty square. Eating it adds one point and one square of length. When the coil fills the whole board the round is won.
Ending. Touching a wall or any part of the coil ends the round. The square the tail is leaving is safe to step into.
Speed. A tick starts at 180 milliseconds and shortens by 5 for each point, down to 80.
Memory. The best score is only kept while this page is open. Nothing is stored or sent. The game pauses by itself when you switch to another tab.
